I’m Aadya Agarwal, an artist and
freelance designer. I am interested
in experimental fields of practice.
This led me to explore different avenues in art through a program called ‘Partner a Master’, organised by the NGO Art1st. Through it I worked under various artists, with varied art media.
I pursued the Bachelor of Creative Arts degree with a major in Experimental Media Arts with a minor in film and creative writing. Writing was my passion in college. Creative writing faculty taught me about storytelling in various formats and contexts. From film classes I learnt about film techniques and elements that can extend the story in a meaningful way. I also went on to experiment with bringing film and poetry together. A course on analogue photography and developing film helped me understand light and various ways of making an image.
I’m a fast learner and adapt my vision well to a project’s requirements. I am eager to learn more about the design world and continue to nurture new skills I pick up with each project.
